I am here because I saw a friend on the net who had started a blog and I thought I would give it a try. I always have so many things racing through my mind and now I have somewhere to "unload". I used to have a diary when I was younger. I enjoyed writing in it but stopped many years ago. Now that I'm older and have developed an interest in Religion/Politics my entries will be quite different from that of a teenager.
I look forward to being able to communicate in any way my opinions. Being a mother of two young children and married to a man who does not necessarily agree with me on many subjects, this will be a great way to express my so called radical ideas and thoughts without fear of alienating those I love. It hurts to be so misunderstood, maybe with this blog I can at least try and explain myself, if not to anyone I know, maybe to myself?

i'm so glad for your blog. i just started my own because i miss journaling and i want to say things people might not want to hear about. also, recently i tried to express my non-religious views on facebook and was sorely disappointed that lots of people didn't want to talk about that. so i figure i need to open up to the wider world. i haven't yet posted about my views but i've been told i'm an ethical humanist. i'm glad to see all the resources on your page and i'm super excited to see julia sweeney's new thing. i love her god said ha! thanks!
