Culture of Suffering vs. Culture of Death
Social conservatives prefer a culture of suffereing. They would prefer the woman and child suffer. The woman will suffer trying to raise a child by herself and the child will suffer as an unwanted son or daughter. Society may suffer if this single mom keeps having unwanted children and one or more of them will turn to a life of crime. Social conservatives would prefer people like Mrs. Schiavo continue to suffer in vegatative states and their families suffer even more with false hope.Remember the good old days when it was illegal for a woman to use pain medication when giving birth? All because they beleive everyone are sinners and must suffer. Death is the easy way out.
