How long has Montana been a state?
I am sure it has been longer than 48 years.
This was not what our founding fathers had in mind. No Religious Test!
But, since the commie scare of the Fifties this is what we have now.

Governor’s Prayer Breakfast set for Saturday

Barbara Williams-Skinner will be the keynote speaker at the 48th annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast Saturday morning.Williams-Skinner is a nationally recognized spiritual leader, teacher, lecturer and writer.She is the author of numerous articles and a leadership training workbook, “Becoming an Effective 21st Century Leader.”The breakfast is a state version of the National Prayer Breakfast held annually in Washington, D.C.Organizers say it is non-denominational and non-political, and is arranged by the governor’s office and a statewide sponsoring committee.Other speakers include state Rep. Scott Mendenhall, Montana Secretary of State Brad Johnson, Montana State Auditor John Morrison, Lt. Gov. John Bohlinger and Gov. Brian Schweitzer.

The breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the Carroll College Lower Commons.Following the breakfast at 11:30 a.m., Williams-Skinner will talk about her leadership ministry during a gathering for high school students and young adults at the Gateway Center, located at the intersection of National Avenue and Phoenix Street.Also, a fellowship dinner will be held in conjunction with the breakfast at 6:30 p.m. tonight also at the Carroll College Lower Commons.The dinner will feature reports from ministries throughout the state.Tickets for Friday’s gathering and the prayer breakfast are $15 each. Reservations are not necessary.
