Three local churches are offering a special “Longest Night” service on Monday night.
'Everyone, regardless of church background or lack of it is welcome'
This would be the last thing I would do for the Solstice, exactly because of my "lack of it"
Instead, at my place we are having a bon fire tonight. One and all are invited, even if you have or had a church background. I promise we will not be sitting around praying and singing hymes. It's a purely secular social event with no strings attached.
